Rental Payment Options
  • The first two weeks rent, must be paid in cash to Tweed Sutherland First National prior to collecting your keys and taking possession of the property.

     

    • The bond must be paid in the form of a Bank Cheque or a Money Order and made payable to the ‘RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES BOND AUTHORITY,” prior to taking possession of the property.

     

    • Rent is payable on or before the due date. Should your rental fall behind, you will automatically be issued with an arrears letter.

     

    • If you are in arrears for more than seven (7) days, you will be required to make the next payment at the office in cash.

     

    • If your rent falls more than fifteen (15) days in arrears a Notice to Vacate will be issued.

     

    • On the following page there is a list of different ways in which you can regularly pay your rent. We have created several ways to make it easier for you to organise paying your rent.

     

  • OPTION 1 – Internet banking
    • You have the option of paying rent online 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, via a simple transfer of funds. You must ensure that your reference number is contained in the ‘details’ section.

  • OPTION 2 – Direct Debit (from wages or bank account)
    • You can opt to organise with your bank or your pay office, to directly credit our account. Once it is set up, regular payments will be automatically made on your behalf. This is an easy and simple way, so you never forget to pay your rent! You must ensure that your reference number is included with payments.

  • OPTION 3 – Bank Deposit
    • You can pay rent at the any ANZ Bank using a specially numbered agent deposit book.

 

Please contact the office to be issued with an agent number and deposit book.

 

  • OPTION 4 – Centrelink Payments (if applicable)
    • Centrelink offers a service of deducting rental payments from Centrelink payments on a regular basis. Contact Centrelink for the appropriate forms for you to complete.

  • OPTION 5 – Cheque / Money Order
    • Your payments can be mailed to Tweed Sutherland First National, 50-52 Mitchell Street, Bendigo. Please make cheques payable to Tweed Sutherland First National and ensure that information is enclosed to clearly identify your name and property.

  • OPTION 6 – Credit Card
  •                Your rent can be paid with a credit card or eftpos card at our office.
  •                     a 1% fee applies to Credit cards and a 32 cent fee applies to eftpos cards.
